Our Process

Our Process

01 Family Questionnaire

02 Match Making

In order for us to find you the best candidate for your family, you will need to fill out a questionnaire so that we can get an understanding of your family’s needs and wants. We like to gather as much information as possible about your children, your family and your household operation so we can match you with one of our qualified candidates that be a proper fit. Upon submission of your questionnaire, our family consultant will give you a phone call to go over and discuss your questionnaire in greater detail. We are looking for information such as language preferences, allergies, temperament, household schedule, teaching styles, personality traits and more! After this is completed, we will send over our Family Contract and invoice so we can begin the process of finding the perfect caregiver for your family.

Once you sign your Family Contract and pay your non-refundable deposit that goes toward your final cost, we will begin our search. We will thoroughly interview each candidate that we believe would be a fit for your family. Your family consultant will email you resumes for the candidates who specifically meet your family’s needs. We will give you the opportunity to let us know which candidates interest you and who you would like to interview. Half of your remaining balance is due prior to setting up your interviews. In an attempt to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, all initial interviews will be done virtually.

03 Interview

04 Trail Run

If you show interest in a candidate and you would like to do a trial run, we will set this up between your possible candidate and your family. You are responsible for paying your nanny for the hours that they are working during the trial run. The rate is typically $15/hr, but can be discussed. You are allowed two trial days per candidate within the week before making your decision.

We will work together with your family to coordinate interviews for you and the candidates you have considered based on your schedule. We will set up all of your virtual interviews via zoom with your candidates. After your interviews we will follow up within 24 hours with you about your candidates. Please use this time to let us know how you are feeling about the candidates, please be specific and inform us on what you like or didn’t like about them. This is important and necessary so we can alter our approach on the types of candidates we present to you. Candidates are often interviewing for multiple positions so if a nanny does peak your interest, we can pull them immediately and better the chances of a quick and seamless connection We require that if you are interested in having a 2nd virtual or an in-person interview with a candidate, please let us know immediately after interviewing them and we will also schedule this for you.

05 Decision Making

Once you have made your decision on who you would like to hire, please reach out to your family consultant immediately. It is important for us to know who you would like to hire so we can inform the candidate and the other potential candidates of the final selection. You and your family consultant will go over an offer and all details needed for your nanny to begin. This includes compensation, schedule, expectations and any other particulars that need to be discussed. Afterwards, we will inform your candidate of their hire. We will inform your nanny of the terms and make sure both parties agree upon all finalized details. We will then send you and your chosen candidate an agreement that must be signed by both parties prior to them beginning. Your final half of your remaining balance is due once your family and candidate sign their individual agreement.

Our goal is to address any concerns then, so that we can move forward with a successful and sustainable partnership between you and your placed nanny.
